PH4 #550 Putting the HASH back in Rosh HASH-anah

Barukh atah Adonai, Eloheinu, melekh ha'olam asher kidishanu b'mitz'votav v'tzivanu l'had'lik neir shel Yom Hazikaron!

This Wednesday, September 28th, Tequilla Cocking Bird and Tina Turnover will be dusting off their Kiddushes, covering themselves in d'vash and putting the HASH back in Rosh Hashanah.

Why?
Because "rosh hashanah" literally translates to "head of the year" (head? who said head?) so you know this is a holiday for hashers . . . and because we're pretty sure you meshugoyim have lots of sins to cast off before the new year starts.

How?
An A-A', dog/stroller/bike-friendly trail heading off from Dockside Saloon (2047 NW Front Ave Portland, OR) at the usual time (hares off at 7, pack to follow after Torah reading), plenty of bristen and shmekl checks, a Manischewitz check, a Tashlich check, and a rousing religion full of repentance. Bring your sins, sinful virgins, vessels, headlamps, prayer books, rosh dags, extra layers for the on-in, and your shofar.

For the extra sinful who need more time to repent (or drown their sorrows), the on after will take place at Moonshine Kitchen & Lounge (1020 NW 17th Ave Portland, OR).

Leshana tova tekatev v'techatem! On-on.
